Sweet Dakota Rose Watermelon

A short day watermelon (Citrullus lanatus) originating from organic farmer David Podoll in North Dakota. Early maturing, good for cold climates, but performs great in ours here. We've improved the original line over two generations to remove any lumpy, misshapen fruits we countered in the first production.

Will produce mature fruit for harvest approximately 80 days when seeded in ideal soil and climate conditions. Seeds are certified organic; this is an Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI) pledged variety.
