Others have proposed the name \u003cem\u003eOcimum bisabolenum, \u003c\/em\u003ewhich is similarly unrecognized as an officially accepted species in major global botanical databases. For the time being, I will stick with this as being a cultivar of common basil \u003cem\u003eOcimum basilicum\u003c\/em\u003e with its market association as a Holy Basil.
