A subpolar cool-season ornamental flower (Papaver nudicaule) with light pink papery blossoms. The strain is also known as Pink Champagne Bubbles ‚ÄúIceland‚Äù is actually a misnomer when describing this poppy species ‚Äì they aren‚Äôt native to Iceland, but rather a broad range of boreal geographies throughout the world. With adequate spacing and temperature conditions their bloom period can span multiple months. They grow really well in compact growing spaces and containers.
Flowers in approximately 90-100 days when seeded in ideal soil and climate conditions. Mid-winter-early spring. Plants are perennial,although in most warmer climates they will grow as a short lived biennial or annual.
