Wand Mullein (Verbascum virgatum), also known as Twiggy Mullein is a biennial plant geographically native to southern Europe and also naturalized in a number of other regions of the world. Perhaps atypical for those who associate mulleins with broad, fuzzy light green foliage, Wand Mullein has thin, dark green leaves that form a basal rosette before singularly leafing up the stalk. Stalks are a singular and upright, reaching approximately five feet tall, and produce the signature yellow mullein flowers. Plants have a stange appearance once they've fully set seed and the stalks are dried.

Plants are biennial and flower from seed in approximately 160 days.
