New England Pie Pumpkin

New England Pie (Cucurbita pepo) is the classic pie pumpkin. Plants yield four to six fruits per plant weighing four to six pounds each. Fruit flesh has a sweet flavor and ideal texture for making pumpkin pies. Leaf foliage is more resistant to squash bugs and cucumber beetles than other winter squash types.
