Victoria Rhubarb is a predominantly green stalked variety with blushes of pink and dark red we commonly associate with market varieties of the plant. A fast germinator with rapid growth after seeding. Stalks are sturdy and succulent with an unrivaled sweet sour flavor. Late winter/early spring seedlings will produce usable stalks by late summer/early fall. Vigorous production can be expected from second year plants. Root divisions to rapidly proliferate the crop are easily accomplished.
