Ida Gold Tomato is "an ultra early semideterminate cultivar with concentrated fruit set," released in 1983 by the University of Idaho. Ideal for northern, short-season climates, can also be grown as an early season variety for hot summer glows. Plants produce golf ball-sized, low acid, sweet orange tomatoes. Sturdy, compact plants are excellent for gardeners with space limitations or container gardens. Seeds are certified organic.
