Otto File ("Eight Row") is a flint corn originating from the East Coast. Plants produce 8-12" slender cobs approximately 1.5-2 inches thick. The bright yellow kernels are ideal for making polenta.
Our seed stock was gifted to Ojai farmer Steve Sprinkel at the 2024 Eco Farm conference and has been grown out for two generations on the Farmer and the Cook farm in Ojai.
