Dense-Flowered Mullein (Verbascum densiflorum) is the largest mullein offered in our catalog. Broad basal leaves eventually yield stalks with profuse yellow flowers. Plants can reach up to six feet tall. Leaves are less fuzzy than Common Mullein, but the flower yield is useful for making oils.
Mulleins are biennials that can produce harvestable leaves within 70-90 days when seeded in ideal climate and soil conditions. Plants can flower within their first three seasons of growth, but more typically in their second year.
