A specialty blend of kale, pea, chard, and beets specifically designed for sprouting and baby greens! Fast growing, and perfect for small growing spaces.

Microgreens are vegetable shoots that are harvested early during sprouting or in young seedling stage (after forming their first true leaves). Our blend includes beets, chard, kale, and pea seeds that are  meant for dense plantings in containers or soil flats and then harvested before soil nutrients are exhusted. Microgreens are extremely easy to grow when given adequate light (full sun, a minimum of six hours a day), water  (frequently/multiple times daily) and soil conditions (a high quality soil blend). Sow seeds densely in open flats or containers and spread them around the soil. Gently cover with an additional layer of soil, and water in gently. Greens can be harvested at any stage they are easy to clip (micropruners work great!), or can be pinched by hand. If you have multiple growing areas, consider succession sowings a week to 12 days apart to ensure a sustained supply of greens.
