Mongolian Giant Sunflower

Similar to our Russian Mammoth, but, dare we say, giant-er? Mongolian Giant Sunflower (Helianthus annuus) is an heirloom that typically grows up to 12 feet tall and produces yellow blossoms and single flowering heads that can reach up to 1.5 feet in diameter. The torpedo shaped seeds are really striking and are over an inch long.

This sunflower is an annual that can produce flowers within 90 days from seeding under ideal soil and climate conditions.
