Sugar Snap (Pisum sativum) is a super-sweet snap pea, to which all other snap pea varieties are compared! This 1979 All-America Selections (AAS) winner produces tall vines over six feet that require trellising for support. Big yields of three inch long pods over a long harvest period. Whole pods can be eaten fresh or cooked. Harvest frequently to prolong production.
