Barley (Hordeum vulgare) is an annual grain that performs well in a wider range of climates than oat, rye, or wheats. It can be used as a year-round cover crop in temperate climates and has modest drought and salt tolerance. Interplant barley with winter beans, clovers or field peas for a great nitrogen fixation and biomass and organic matter building. ‰ÛÏRobust‰۝ is a six-row barley variety that‰۪s also ideal for a wide variety of food purposes, including pearling, malting and as an animal feed. 90-100 days from seed to grain in spring season.
